Pelephone and Cash-U Go For Gold with Mobile Olympic Games
London - Cash-U Mobile Technologies, the power behind mobile entertainment, announced today that Pelephone, Israel’s first mobile operator, has launched its new Gaming Olympics in parallel with the opening of the Olympic Games in Athens. This new service was created using the Pecan Gaming solution provided by Cash-U in conjunction with mobile entertainment provider Eurofun.
Pelephone’s Gaming Olympics enables millions of customers to play a host of one-on-one and multiplayer sports games in tournament settings with the ability to post ongoing scoring on a special Internet site developed especially for the Olympics. The games available through Pelephone’s mobile entertainment environment include basketball, volleyball, shooting, boxing and athletics.
The Gaming Olympics is powered by Cash-U’s Pecan Gaming solution. Pecan Gaming forms part of the Pecan Mobile Entertainment Service Delivery Environment that empowers operators and ASP’s to control and deliver a suite of mobile entertainment services.
Eurofun, a growing force in the mobile entertainment industry, developed the Gaming Olympics and the associated internet site. Olympic contestants are able to choose the country they are representing and follow both their individual scores as well as the overall success of their country, in the various tournaments.
