Idetic Powers Sprint TV - new Video-on-Demand Offering for Sprint PCS Vision Multimedia Services

Berkeley, California - August 17, 2004 - Idetic, Inc., the company that created MobiTV, the world's first live TV service for mobile phones, announced today that it is providing content and operations for Sprint TV, the "basic cable" channel for Sprint PCS VisionSM Multimedia Services, launched in New York City today. This new service provides a variety of channels giving consumers the ability to stay informed with more than 600 new clips each day of the latest news, sports, entertainment and weather.

Through its delivery of Sprint TV - from application development and administration to content licensing and operations - Idetic has significantly expanded its multimedia content delivery partnership with Sprint. With programming from NBC News, ABC News Now, FOX Sports, The Weather Channel, stand-up comedy, cartoons, music and more, Sprint TV can stay informed and entertained. Sprint TV is the default channel for the "basic cable" service and will be provided to all subscribers on the new plan.

Dr. Phillip Alvelda, Chairman and CEO of Idetic, said: "With the original MobiTV product, Sprint embraced the concept of mobile TV and together we have demonstrated its potential over the past nine months. This opportunity to extend our collaboration encouraged our company to take the next logical step and broaden Idetic's product offerings by adding a next-generation Video-On-Demand service to our line of multimedia delivery services. By introducing the new Vision Multimedia Service and Sprint TV, in addition to the live television programming provided by MobiTV, Sprint is once again setting the agenda for wireless services."

At the present time, Sprint TV is only available on the new Sprint PCS Vision Multimedia Phone MM-A700 by Samsung. This innovative new phone with a built-in Mediaplayer is available in Sprint Stores nationwide for a retail price of $399.99, or $249.99 after rebate with a two-year agreement. Subscribers can access Sprint TV, as well as the other premium channels, via menus that allow them to select and watch segments on demand. For unlimited access to Sprint TV, subscribers may choose the Sprint Multimedia Pack, which also includes unlimited Vision, unlimited Picture Mail, unlimited Video Mail, and 100 SMS messages for just $25.00 per month. Sprint PCS Vision subscribers with an existing Sprint Vision Plan who purchase one of the new phones, can add Sprint TV to their existing Sprint PCS Vision plan for just $9.99 a month.
