MUMBAI, India, Dec. 15 -- QUALCOMM Incorporated
(Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access
(CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced the opening of a BREW
Developer Lab in Mumbai, India. The new lab, one of nine BREW developer labs
worldwide, will provide Indian application developers access to the latest
BREW-enabled handsets, software and testing tools. In addition, the lab
provides developers access to hands-on technical support from QUALCOMM.
Developers will also be able to attend a three-day BREW workshop following the
opening of the lab.
"We are pleased that QUALCOMM recognizes India's strong developer
community and its role in growing the global wireless market," said Mahesh
Prasad, president of the Applications & Solutions Group for Reliance Infocomm.
"QUALCOMM's new BREW Developer Lab in Mumbai furthers Reliance's efforts to
nurture the developer community in India through the Dhirubhai Ambani

this initiative and look forward to working with BREW developers to deliver
entertaining and useful content in India."

new users through a variety of new shopping options available soon.

Mr. Amit Bose, president of telecom, Tata Teleservices. "Our customers demand
a compelling wireless experience that offers a number of applications and

advanced applications more quickly and easily."
