Bluesocket and Packeteer Team to Offer Integrated QoS Solutions for Wi-Fi Networks
HP deploys combined solution for Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA)
Burlington, Mass., February 5, 2004 --Bluesocket® Inc., the leading vendor of open-systems Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) management and security solutions, today announced a global agreement with Packeteer® (NASDAQ: PKTR), a leading provider of application traffic management solutions. Through this agreement Bluesocket and Packeteer will work together to ensure interoperability of their respective solutions for QoS in Wi-Fi networks. They will also engage in co-marketing and sales initiatives.
Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) recently deployed the combined solution at Canada's largest airport, Pearson International, managed by the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA).
