Rocket Mobile's BREW(TM)-Based RocketMMS(TM) Launches on Motorola Handset for VIVO's TorpedoMMS
LOS GATOS, Calif., -- Rocket Mobile(R), a
leading provider of wireless software solutions and technologies, today
announced that its RocketMMS(TM) client has been selected by wireless operator
VIVO and will be pre-installed on its Motorola T731 handset line.
The RocketMMS solution was developed for QUALCOMM's Binary Runtime Environment for
Wireless(TM) (BREW) platform and allows VIVO subscribers to send and receive
multimedia-rich messages filled with graphics, pictures, sounds, and text on
their BREW-enabled phones. The MMS service, branded as TorpedoMMS, is offered to
VIVO as a retail package that includes the phone and attachable camera.
