Tele Atlas Powers TomTom Navigator USA for Palm
Las Vegas, NV - Tele Atlas, a worldwide leading provider of digital map data and location content, announced today that its turn-by-turn map data and points of interest (POIs) content are powering TomTom Navigator USA for Palm. TomTom's latest solution for the Palm platform is an effective and flexible navigation system that uses the most complete turn-by-turn maps currently available for the United States. With this release, Palm Tungsten T3 users can now enjoy the flexibility and ease of use that TomTom offers with its 3D color, map display and voice-guided navigation instructions.
TomTom Navigator for Palm features maps for the entire U.S. on CD-ROM with millions of points of interest (POIs) preloaded, as well as a separate map with major U.S. roads to allow travelers to plan cross-country trips without having to switch maps. The TomTom GPS wireless receiver and custom car kit are also included.
