Cash-U adds fourteen high-score posting games to mobile games catalogue
London—January 20th, 2004: Cash-U Mobile Technologies, the power behind mobile entertainment, today announced that it has added fourteen tournament-enabled games to its growing Pecan Content portfolio. Available to customers of Cash-U’s Pecan Gaming platform, Pecan Content provides mobile operators with an extensive catalogue of ready-to-play applications that take full advantage of Pecan Gaming’s advanced network-aware features.
By providing high-score posting functionality, mobile gamers can compete against each other for a place in the Hall of Fame as well as search through live rankings on the Internet or their mobile. Using the Pecan Gaming platform, operators can set up leagues and tournaments and give their customers the additional incentive of prizes. This significantly enhances the user experience, enabling operators to increase mobile entertainment usage and drive data traffic in order to raise ARPU (average revenue per user).
These new additions to the Pecan Content games catalogue include a wide variety of game formats and styles with single-player and multi-player functionality. Whether customers want to kayak their way past sharks in the Amazon River, punch their way to the boxing championship title or try their luck on the roulette and blackjack tables, there is something for everyone.
The games come from developers such as Ananas, GameBit, CellFun, Microjocs and Large Animal, all members of Cash-U’s growing developer community. By using Cash-U’s latest SDK (Software Development Kit), developers can score-post-enable existing J2ME games in just a matter of hours in order to enter the next-step of mobile entertainment.
