Flowfinity and mBiztech enable a unified BlackBerry® solution for Lotus Notes
Orlando, Florida - January 27, 2004 - Flowfinity Wireless Inc., a leading provider of wireless application products and platforms, and mBiztech Corp., developer of innovative wireless business productivity solutions, jointly announced today a new unified solution leveraging Flowfinity Forms and mBiztech’s mDB for Lotus Notes on BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds(TM) from Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM); (TSX: RIM).
By extending Flowfinity Forms data collection application with the capabilities of mBiztech's mDB Database Connectivity module this new unified solution will enable corporations using Lotus Notes and Domino to receive valuable information from users that are mobile.
With Flowfinity Forms data collection solution organizations are able to collect data from the field wirelessly and without programming. With the integration of Flowfinity Forms and mBiztech's mDB Database Connectivity module, organizations will be able to easily deploy data capture solutions on top of Lotus Notes and Domino. This means that any employee who is mobile outside of the office is able to enter data into his BlackBerry Wireless Handheld and this information is automatically sent through a secure connection over the wireless network and into the Lotus Notes application back in the home office.
