WirelessDevNet.com Press Release

National Scientific Corp. to Exhibit IBUS School Bus Rider Product

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--July 23, 2004--U.S. technology firm National Scientific Corp. (OTCBB: NSCT) today announced it will showcase its IBUS(TM) school bus passenger authentication system at the School Transportation News (STN) School Bus Expo 2004 to be held Aug. 8-11 in Reno, Nev., at the Reno Hilton Hotel. National Scientific will be located at booth #174.

IBUS is a school bus rider authentication system that combines GPS with RFID and Wi-Fi technologies to form a cost-effective solution for keeping track of school children en route to and from school each day. Combined with National Scientific's powerful iVerified for Schools(TM) software, highly accurate location and rider data is converted into easy-to-use, instantly accessible reports. The information can be used to streamline a school's internal and external reporting requirements, including Medicaid reimbursements. At the same time, parents have the peace of mind of knowing they can quickly determine exactly when their child stepped onto or off the school bus.

National Scientific's IBUS student and school bus tracking system includes an ID card reader, a GPS module for time and location information and iVerified for Schools software. This system interfaces with any standard 802.11x Wi-Fi access points. Complete specifications for this product are available on the company's Web site at www.national-scientific.com.
