IntelliGolf 7.1 Ships With GPS For Navman PiN, Garmin iQue, And Wins 'Best Mobile Software' Award
CAMERON PARK, Calif.--July 27, 2004--Karrier Communications, leaders in sports enhancing software, today announced the shipment of its latest IntelliGolf(R) version 7.1 golf scorecard software for Palm (Nasdaq:PLMO) Powered handhelds(TM), Microsoft(R) (Nasdaq:MSFT) Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs, Smartphones, and Windows PCs. IntelliGolf v7.1 adds support for embedded GPS on the Navman(TM) PiN Pocket PC, the Garmin(R) (Nasdaq:GRMN) iQue handhelds, 5-way navigation on Palm OS(TM) devices (e.g. Treo 600 smartphone and Tungsten handhelds from PalmOne, etc.), GPS baud rates to 115,200, new wagering enhancements, and Dual-Sync capabilities for Windows Mobile devices. Additionally, IntelliGolf was just awarded "Best Mobile Software" for Y2004 based upon its recent support of Bluetooth, GPS, and all seven S's of golf.
