LaserCraft Contour XLR Series is Now Wireless with Bluetooth Technology
LAS VEGAS, March 2 -- LaserCraft announced today that its
Contour XLR series of laser rangefinders is now available with Bluetooth(R)
wireless technology. This new feature provides mapping, mobile GIS users and
field data collectors with the unprecedented convenience of wireless
connectivity.
The announcement was made today at Trimble's MGIS Business Meeting.
The Contour XLR series continues to set the bar for integrated
compass/inclinometer laser range finding with the addition of Bluetooth(R)
wireless technology. Bluetooth(R) enabling provides true wireless connectivity
and simple data output flow to GPS handheld receivers, data loggers, PCs, and
PDAs. Eliminating cables to Bluetooth(R)-enabled devices makes for less
cumbersome and more productive fieldwork.
Contour XLR Laser Rangefinder Series
LaserCraft's Contour XLR Rangefinder series are rugged and flexible
handheld laser rangefinders for the mapping, GIS, construction, military and
surveying professional. The Contour series combines accuracy long ranging
performance into an ergonomic, lightweight and affordable package. They
feature a heads up display aiming site, well labeled LCD back panel and an
easy to use and understandable menu.
With the Contour XLR series there are options for the users to select the
best choice for their needs. The Contour XLR provides long distance ranging
for general planning.
The Contour XLRi offers distance and height measuring capabilities for
forestry, utilities and telecom uses.
The Contour XLRic offers all the features of distance and height measuring
as well as bearing provided by our consistent +/- 0.5 degrees digital compass.
