LaserCraft Contour XLR Series is Now Wireless with Bluetooth Technology

LAS VEGAS, March 2 -- LaserCraft announced today that its Contour XLR series of laser rangefinders is now available with Bluetooth(R) wireless technology. This new feature provides mapping, mobile GIS users and field data collectors with the unprecedented convenience of wireless connectivity.

The announcement was made today at Trimble's MGIS Business Meeting. The Contour XLR series continues to set the bar for integrated compass/inclinometer laser range finding with the addition of Bluetooth(R) wireless technology. Bluetooth(R) enabling provides true wireless connectivity and simple data output flow to GPS handheld receivers, data loggers, PCs, and PDAs. Eliminating cables to Bluetooth(R)-enabled devices makes for less cumbersome and more productive fieldwork.
