Mobi-MLB Gameday Audio provides streaming audio coverage of all baseball games to Sprint PCS Vision

Berkeley, CA – May 6, 2004 – Idetic, Inc., the company behind MobiTV, and MLB Advanced Media, LP (MLBAM), the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, have partnered to deliver Mobi-MLB Gameday Audio. The new service delivers live audio broadcasts of all Major League Baseball games to fans' mobile phones.

Available today to Sprint PCS Vision subscribers nationwide, Mobi-MLB Gameday Audio features 30 channels providing Gameday Audio radio broadcasts for every Major League Baseball game during the season. Fans have the option of selecting their favorite team's channel, and listening to their favorite team's hometown call, irrespective of where the team is playing.

Mobi-MLB Gameday Audio will deliver the live broadcast of every Major League Baseball game, every day, including the playoffs and World Series. Mobi-MLB Gameday Audio also includes continuous access to MLB.com Radio, which features pre-game and post-game analysis from top players and coaches.

"The success of MobiTV has shown that there's a huge national appetite for news and entertainment on the go. Mobi-MLB Gameday Audio will satisfy even the most dedicated baseball fans by enabling them to follow their teams closely, no matter where they are," said Dr. Phillip Alvelda, CEO of Idetic, Inc. "Subscribers can now receive the same sound quality and coverage as if they are listening to their local radio station, but without having to carry a separate radio device."

"Millions of our listeners have mobile phones so Mobi-MLB Gameday Audio represents a significant opportunity for MLBAM. Being able to offer our fans live commentary of their local teams, even while they're on the move or out of town, is a leap forward," said George Kliavkoff, senior vice president of business development, MLBAM. "Not all fans can be in front of a TV or computer screen for every game. But now they never have to miss a game again."

The launch of Mobi-MLB Gameday Audio comes just six months after the announcement of MobiTV, the world's first live streaming television service delivered direct to mobile phones. Both products, developed by Idetic, are available as a J2ME download to most Sprint PCS Vision phones.

The subscription fee for Mobi-MLB Gameday Audio is $9.99 per month during the Major League Baseball season, including the playoffs and World Series. MobiTV is also available for $9.99 per month. Both services are available now to Sprint PCS Vision customers.
