Siemens Licences Openwave Mobile Browser Version 7
REDWOOD CITY, California, May 10 Openwave Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: OPWV), the leading provider of open software products and services for the communications industry, today announced that Siemens has licenced Openwave(R) Mobile Browser Version 7 (V7), the flagship application from Openwave Phone Suite Version 7, for its Siemens 65 series of handsets which are expected to ship in Europe in the middle of this year.
Openwave Phone Suite V7 enables manufacturers like Siemens to deliver differentiated and uniquely integrated user experiences that drive adoption of advanced data services. The V7 browser represents an advance in mobile browsing technology, including significant developments in page rendering and customisation.
