Handango Announces the 2004 Handango Champion Award Finalists
HURST, Texas – May 13, 2004 – Today, Handango, the leading provider of mobile downloads, announced the finalists for the annual Handango Champion Awards. The Handango Champion Awards recognize outstanding mobile software applications and developers. The 2004 Handango Champion Award finalists were chosen by customer votes and nominations from experts.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on June 24, 2004, at the Handango Partner Summit in San Diego, California. Awards will be presented for Symbian OS™, Java™, Palm OS®, Windows Mobile™ Pocket PC, Windows Mobile Smartphone and Linux applications in the following categories:

At the awards ceremony, Handango will present a “Developer of the Year” award to one company for each mobile operating system. “Developer of the Year” acknowledges outstanding accomplishments in development, marketing and business practices.
Handango Champion Award recipients receive a generous awards package including a $5,000 marketing stipend and a variety of promotional opportunities. Handango will feature the winners and finalists on Handango properties and provide additional marketing support to the winners.
