Lunagames introduces its new BREW and Java lineup featuring Election 2004
Haarlem, May 24 2004 – Lunagames the mobile games content provider based in the Netherlands introduces its new BREW™ and Java™ lineup for the second quarter featuring 'Election 2004', an innovating strategy game based on the US Elections.
The support for both BREW and Java (MIDP) is part of Lunagames' strategy to rollout its original game concepts over multiple platforms worldwide. The mixed flavor of new titles are expected to do well in the key target markets including the US, Europe and Asia.
Lunagames introduces four new titles in different genres, all featuring strategy game play elements:
Election 2004 (BREW and Java)
ATC Night Flight (Java)
Subway (BREW and Java)
Urban Street Racing (Java)
Election 2004 brings the US Election to the mobile phone allowing the player to run for the President of the United States. The gamer has full control over the election campaign including advertisement, recruitment of volunteers, and arranging debates. Play it clean or run a dirty campaign in which the player can dig for dirt on the opponent revealing the latest scandals, or even worse take covert actions to tempt the opponent into trouble.
ATC Night Flight released last week is based on the popular Air Traffic Control theme featuring new night missions, breathtaking new graphics, and enhanced game play appealing to the die hard ATC fans as well as being accessible to the casual gamer.
Subway will be available early June bringing a total new puzzle/strategy gaming experience featured around the subway system in which the gamer needs to get impatient passengers to their destination. The release of Subway will be followed by Urban Street Racing, which combines fast paced street racing with strategy features including pit stops and car configurations available through a full Championship career mode.
