NBA Unveils Wireless Sports Package; "NBA Unwired"
NEW YORK--Nov. 3, 2004--NBA Unveils Wireless Sports Package
Includes Video Highlights of Every NBA Game Through Nokia
Features New Groundbreaking Deal with THQ Wireless and First Two-on-Two NBA Wireless Game from JAMDAT Mobile
The NBA announced today the launch of "NBA Unwired" the most comprehensive professional sports wireless package featuring official NBA content from a marketing relationship with Nokia and licensees THQ Wireless and JAMDAT Mobile. Basketball fans will be able to receive "NBA Unwired" on their mobile phones throughout the 2004-05 NBA season which tipped off yesterday with NBA Premiere Week, November 2-8.
The "NBA Unwired" wireless sports package includes a new agreement with THQ Wireless Inc., a subsidiary of THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI), and the debut of NBA-themed wireless products for the upcoming season. The new relationship marks THQ Wireless' most extensive offerings with a professional sports league.
The NBA and THQ Wireless will unveil a series of groundbreaking wireless products including; the first-ever officially licensed basketball fantasy game for wireless "NBA Fantasy Five"; the first 5-on-5 NBA wireless simulation game, "NBA Basketball 2005"; the first wireless game tracker application by a professional sports league that fans can download "NBA Courtside Live Mobile"; and the first series of official NBA player voice ringtones featuring Chris Webber of the Sacramento Kings, Richard Jefferson of the New Jersey Nets and Jermaine O'Neal of the Indiana Pacers.
As a part of the NBA's continuing relationship with Nokia, for the first time fans will have the opportunity to view wireless video highlights of every NBA game throughout the season. The game highlights will be available on select Nokia video-enabled phones shortly after each game.
Additionally, JAMDAT Mobile (NASDAQ: JMDT) will unveil the first two-on-two NBA wireless game, "JAMDAT SPORTS NBA 2005." JAMDAT originally launched the first-ever NBA licensed wireless game "NBA One-on-One" in 2003.

NBA Video Highlights - Wireless video highlights available shortly after every NBA game throughout the 2004-05 NBA season.
NBA News & Statistics - Complete scores, standings and schedules along with NBA news updates. Additionally, fans can access a variety of NBA statistical leaders including points, assist and rebounds as well as team-specific statistics.
The NBA features with Nokia will be available through the Nokia Sports application found on Nokia 6600, 6620 and 7610 video-enabled phone models with AT&T, Cingular or T-Mobile service.
As the new sponsor of The NBA on TNT Tip-Off Presented by Nokia, Nokia will provide fans with behind-the-scenes video highlights of TNT's live NBA pre-game show including footage of host Ernie Johnson and analysts Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith.
Nokia Sports is also celebrating NBA Premiere Week through the "Ring in the Basketball New Year Sweepstakes," promoted on NBA.com, Nokiausa.com and the Nokia Sports application on select Nokia phones. Fans have the chance to receive a phone call from Charlotte Bobcats rookie Emeka Okafor, a trip to celebrate New Year's with the NBA in South Beach and other merchandise.

The NBA suite of wireless products with THQ Wireless for "NBA Unwired" is expected to be available through all major mobile phone carriers.
