THQ Wireless Lands Deal With The National Basketball Association
CALABASAS HILLS, Calif.--Nov. 4, 2004--THQ Wireless Inc., a subsidiary of THQ Inc. (NASDAQ:THQI), has reached an agreement with the National Basketball Association (NBA) to create the most comprehensive suite of officially licensed basketball-themed wireless products to date, including games, fantasy applications, information services, ringtones and graphics. These wireless products will be featured in the NBA's new wireless sports package, "NBA Unwired," and will be available in the U.S. to coincide with the start of the 2004 Basketball season, which tipped off on November 2.
