ESPN and BASS Announced Launch of Bassmaster Legendary Lunkers For Mobile Gamers
ESPN and BASS, the worldwide authority on bass fishing, announced today the immediate availability of the Bassmaster Legendary Lunkers mobile game, offered through a subscription or one-time-fee for customers on various nationwide carriers.
Bassmaster Legendary Lunkers features cutting-edge graphics, realistic behavior from fish, and real-time weather conditions pulled directly from the National Weather Service. In addition, the distinctive Cast N’ Wait System allows players to virtually cast out a line, and then leave their phone unattended while the game passively “fishes.” When the player has a fish on the line, the phone will ring, calling them back to the game.

Bassmaster Legendary Lunkers, developed by Dwango North America, is the first of a series of licensed products and services fans can purchase that will build out a robust wireless environment under the Bassmaster Mobile moniker. Other features to be developed include customized bass fishing ringtones, photo applications, wallpapers, Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) applications. The Bassmaster Mobile services enhance ESPN’s licensed mobile content catalog that already includes products targeted to the baseball, football, fantasy and X Games audiences.
