Remote Labs Announces Mobile Activity Tracker For Symbian devices

October 11, 2004 -- Follwing the Symbian Expo in London, Remote Labs announces it’s Mobile Activity Tracker application (M.A.T.) for Symbian devices. The MAT application allows configured phones to relay information to the Web such as mobile call records, the phone book contacts list, images and audio files. In conjunction with the Mobile Device Control Centre ASP service (also launching today), M.A.T. offers a compelling solution for your mobile's data backup, storage and analysis. You can download the pre-release version of the MAT software free-of-charge on www.remotelabs.net (subject to end user license agreement). Versions currently exist for the Nokia 3650 and Nokia 3660 phones and will soon also be available for Nokia 6600 and simiral devices.

The Web-based ASP service allows mobile users to deposit phonebook contacts, photos, voice recordings and call records onto the Web. It also allows you to configure the MAT application remotely from the Web.

“Remote Labs will be increasing its portfolio of personal service applications for the smartphone user.”, remarked a Remote Labs spokesperson. “This is just the start. We aim to make smartphone to ASP service connectivity as commonplace as SMS is on phones today. Services such as corporate mobile device management, phone backup, restore and remote phone use are of great interest to our team.”
