Summus Reveals Newest Applications at 2004 CTIA Wireless Conference

RALEIGH, N.C.--Oct. 20, 2004--Summus (USA) (OTCBB: SUMU), a leading provider of mobile media applications that optimize the consumer wireless experience, today announces its participation in the CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2004, October 25-27, 2004 at Moscone West in San Francisco, California. Summus will join Nokia Corporation (NYSE: NOK) at booth #311 demonstrating the newest and most compelling portfolio of applications including the upgraded version of Texas Hold 'Em by Phil Hellmuth, the multiplayer poker game for wireless phones.

"The capabilities of today's mobile devices continue to expand, and thanks to support provided by Nokia Summus will continue to bring innovative and branded applications to the consumer market. Attendees to CTIA will be able to test first hand our most powerful, innovative, and newest applications from multiplayer poker to news and entertainment," said Gary Ban, CEO of Summus.

Kicking off day one of the show is Summus' Texas Hold 'Em by Phil Hellmuth, the only true, real-time interactive mobile multiplayer poker game worldwide. Texas Hold 'Em includes one of the industry's most powerful 3D user interfaces, along with text chat, search capabilities to find friends, and a mobile community-building feature called "invite a friend." Not only will players enjoy the best real time experience of playing poker when compared to any other virtual platform, but most compelling, they will also be able to locate Phil Hellmuth's poker table, thereby providing everyone who subscribes a unique opportunity to go head-to-head against the champion.
Summus will also demonstrate other wireless mobility applications including photo-messaging, multi-player games, news/information and personalization. Look for the signs throughout the Moscone West convention center or stop by Nokia booth #311 on Monday, Oct. 25 from 4-6pm, Tuesday, Oct. 26 from 10:30am-2pm and Wed, Oct. 27 from 10:30am-1pm.
