iTAGG.com, the SMS services & mobile domain name provider, has developed three interactive mobile City Guides covering Marrakech, Sydney and Turin for travel bible, Condé Nast Traveller.

The Java based applications present the information as text and pictures, enabling users to access practical advice on the best places to eat, sleep, and shop, as well as find information on the best entertainment venues across each of the cities, all from the users mobile phone.

The guides can be downloaded free from the OrangeWorld WAP portal direct to the user’s phone and can be viewed conveniently as often as required. The navigation of the guides has been simplified by making all the information available via an intuitive full colour interface.

Sarah Miller, Editor of Condé Nast Traveller, commented: “These are the ninth set of guides in the Orange series and the second set of guides that we have developed with iTAGG.com, the first having proved extremely popular with our readers.

From the outset, we wanted the guides to be something that was more than just a gimmick. iTAGG.com has clearly demonstrated an understanding of our requirements, delivering guides that are both simple to use and a very useful tool!”

Steve Procter, CEO, iTAGG.com, added: “Condé Nast is a forward looking company as it really understands how mobile is a potent medium for reaching out to its readers and extending its brand.

“iTAGG.com has leveraged its expertise in developing bespoke Java applications for mobile operators and brand owners so that the guides have been written and deployed quickly and optimised for a broad range of mobile operating systems.”
