Dwango Wireless Rings in The Hits For The New Billboard Ringtone Chart
SEATTLE, WA (October 27, 2004) – Dwango Wireless (OTCBB:DWGN), a developer and publisher of entertainment content, applications and Mobile Lifestyle Brands, announced today their participation in the new Billboard Ringtone Chart, along with T-Mobile, Ztango, MIDIRingtones , 9Squared, Faith West, Infospace Mobile, Kanematsu, and Zingy.
The Billboard Ringtone Chart is an aggregated U.S. polyphonic ringtone chart that recognizes the $300MM mobile music market, endorsed by CTIA – The Wireless Association ™, and Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF). The new chart will reflect the “Top 20” polyphonic ringtone sales for each week, including song title, artist, previous week's position and number of weeks on the chart, based on data from each of the major ringtone distributors and wireless carriers, representing more than 90% market share.
