Simplewire Provides SMS Aggregation For Guinness Beer Promotion
Ann Arbor, MI September 1, 2004 -- Simplewire, a U.S.-based SMS aggregator, enables Guinness Beer to launch its first SMS cross-carrier short code advertising campaign. The campaign utilizes cross-media platforms including television, radio and print to drive additional user interaction from their mobile handset, via SMS (Short Messaging Service). By responding from their cell phones and wireless PDAs, users may be entered to win free Guinness Beer or other prizes. Simplewire collaborated with Vanso and Soapbox Mobile, a leading mobile marketing agency and application service provider, to help organize the campaign and build the custom application. Soapbox Mobile’s Anywhere™ Mobile Marketing Platform serves as the application’s foundation and Simplewire’s Software Development Kits (SDK) were utilized to handle the transmission of 2-way SMS over the Simplewire Wireless Messaging Network.
