LogicaCMG Drives Mobile Services With Sun Java(TM) Enterprise System
LONDON, Sept. 2 -- Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq: SUNW)
today announced that LogicaCMG (LSE: LOG; Euronext: LOG) -- a major
international force in IT services and wireless telecoms solutions company --
has chosen the Sun Java(TM) Enterprise System as the infrastructure software
of choice for the company's growing range of wireless data services and
wireless messaging solutions. LogicaCMG will implement the full array of
component products included in the Java Enterprise System, allowing it to
offer an increased range of services to its carrier customers and to further
differentiate the company's wireless messaging (voice mail, video mail and
video streaming) solutions through scalability and competitive pricing.
The Java Enterprise System is an open, standards-based software system
