CinemaElectric Announces Increased Mobile Content Distribution Network in France, Hungary and Canada
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- CinemaElectric, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: CINM - News) announced today that it has expanded the distribution network for its multimedia content in France, Hungary and Canada.
CinemaElectric has signed a distribution agreement with K-Mobile S.A. in France to distribute CinemaElectric's PocketCinema(TM) rich media graphics, video and entertainment services to French K-Mobile customers. Based in Paris, France, K-Mobile is a high-profile wireless content leader, enjoying top market positions in Belgium, France, Spain and Germany. American Greetings Interactive, the new media subsidiary of American Greetings Corporation, recently acquired K-Mobile and key brand, Kiwee, an established major European player in the mobile content provider arena. K-Mobile customers with certain multimedia mobile phones can purchase CinemaElectric's mobile content at www.kiwee.com.
In addition, CinemaElectric has launched its PocketCinema(TM) mobile video clips in Hungary through a distribution agreement with T-Mobile International UK Limited. The Hungarian launch brings to a total of six T-mobile territories, after the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, The Czech Republic and Hungary.
T-Mobile Hungary is the Hungarian market leader with a 47% market share and approximately 3.8 million subscribers. CinemaElectric's PocketCinema(TM) mobile video play on a variety of multimedia-enabled mobile phones, including Nokia series 60 and series 40 handsets as well as phones produced by Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Motorola and others. The unique content services of T-Mobile are available under the t-zones name.
Further, CinemaElectric and Motek Global Entertainment Inc. have signed a content agreement for Canada that enables Motek to deliver CinemaElectric's extensive library of downloadable mobile content to the 12 million Canadian wireless customers of Bell Mobility, Rogers AT&T Wireless, and Telus Mobility with enabled devices. The Company's mobile content has started commercial distribution to both Bell Mobility and Telus Mobility customers, with Rogers AT&T Wireless to follow shortly.
