PalmSource Adds Bitfone Corporation, DAT Group And Notify Technology Corporation
MUNICH, Germany, PalmSource(tm) Euro DevCon, September 28, 2004 - PalmSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSRC), provider of Palm OS®, a leading operating system powering next generation mobile devices and smartphones, today announced three new Palm Powered(tm) Mobile World infrastructure partners: Bitfone Corporation, DAT Group, and Notify Technology Corporation. The Palm Powered Mobile World program continues to gain momentum in establishing a wireless ecosystem with the world's leading mobile operators, mobile infrastructure and middleware partners, now with 18 members.
Bitfone, DAT Group and Notify Technology each provide the infrastructure that enables mobile operators to deploy Palm Powered smartphones and wireless devices.
Bitfone, a leader in customer care automation and mobile device management, provides a remote diagnostics solution for Palm Powered smartphones that is fully integrated with an operator's existing customer service console.
The DAT Mobility Platform for Palm Powered smartphones allows operators to remotely configure and provision a Palm OS device.
Notify Technology, a leading provider of wireless email solutions for Novell GroupWise and IMAP4, enables users to receive their email on a Palm Powered smartphone.
