WirelessDevNet.com Press Release

Cirond Corporation to Unveil Solutions to ''WiPhishing'' Threat at WLAN Event in London, England

SAN JOSE, Calif.-- April 12, 2005 -- Cirond Corporation (OTCBB:CROO), a global provider of network security solutions that protect wired and wireless networks against the rapidly growing threat arising from the deployment of unauthorized wireless devices, announced today that it will unveil a comprehensive suite of enterprise solutions to combat the "WiPhishing" and related "evil twin" security vulnerabilities at a press conference to begin at 1:20 P.M. in Room 305 of the Olympia Exhibition and Conference Center in London on April 20, 2005 during the Wireless LAN Event.

Cirond CEO Nicholas Miller, who recently created the word "WiPhishing" to describe the wireless network security threat faced by the more than 100 million wireless laptops in use worldwide, will be joined at the press conference by noted cybercrime expert and lecturer at Cranfield University, Dr. Philip Nobles, who first broadly articulated the "evil twin" wireless security threat faced by users of wireless-equipped laptop computers. Both men will explain the increasing danger to personal and corporate information held on wireless-enabled laptop computers from hackers able to wirelessly "break and enter" these laptops to steal information and introduce viruses without coming in physical contact with the computers they are attacking.

"Every wireless device is a potential route for a hacker into the home or corporate network," said Dr. Nobles. "Users may not be aware of the risks to their own data stored on poorly-secured wireless devices and businesses need to ensure that employees use wireless devices that are managed as part of an enterprise security policy."

Mr. Miller will also explain Cirond's product strategy including its broad range of new anti-WiPhishing solutions and will explain the role that its new exclusive UK dealer Network Utilities will play in the roll out of those solutions to UK customers. In addition, Cirond will be demonstrating its new products on the Network Utilities exhibit (stand 807) and offering a free "WiFi Security Check" for all those who visit the show with their wireless-enabled laptop computers.

"We urge all event attendees to bring their wireless-enabled computers to our free 'WiFi Health Check' at the Network Utilities stand during The Wireless LAN Event," said Miller. "You'll get tips on keeping your laptop secure -- and a free copy of Cirond's ground-breaking AirSafe Personal security connectivity and security tool. It will ensure that your laptop does not connect to untrusted wireless networks -- and will prevent hackers from connecting to your wireless laptop and then using it to 'hop' onto your wired network."

HOW TO COVER THE NEWS:
UK and European Media representatives can schedule personal product demonstrations and one-on-one interviews with Cirond CEO Nicholas Miller by contacting Paul Calderwood at Kingswood Public Relations on 020 8763 2241 and North American press should contact Stephanie Noiseux at Elite Financial Communications Group at 407-585-1080.
