MOOOBILE Launches Pornstar Sophie Evans ‘to go’ Service
Barcelona/Prague, 19th April 2005 - The adult entertainment star Sophie Evans today launched her own mobile site. The model, well known through her collaboration with the Hustler and Private Brands, offers over 18s the chance to view SOOOPHIE, a new WAP site dedicated to her. The service is powered by MOOOBILE, pioneers in the mobile adult arena.
By working with MOOOBILE with whom she has an exclusive worldwide contract for mobile content dissemination, Evans is extending her brand-reach to a whole new audience who are already used to paying for content such as ring tones for, and via, their cell phones. Furthermore, her loyal army of existing fans now has a new channel enabling them to enjoy Sophie whenever, and more importantly, wherever they happen to be.
‘SOOOPHIE gives subscribers the chance to, amongst other things, download film clips and pictures (wallpapers) to their mobile devices and chat with me or one of my friends by SMS’
commented an understandably enthusiastic Evans. ‘Moantones’, as recently launched by my colleague Jenna Jameson, will also feature as part of the product mix. Our aim is to offer something for everyone’, she adds.
The proverbial ‘icing on the cake’ though will be the live streaming facility which will allow customers to interact with Sophie and her friends, irrespective of where the customer actually is. Such services are expected to eventually eclipse the hugely successful SMS chat services – not least since the customers will be able to see Sophie & Co ‘in the flesh’ and interact with them from anywhere – heralding the dawn of a new and exciting customer experience.
‘Mobile is an ideal channel for me to communicate with my fans’ comments Evans. ’And by going mobile, I hope and expect to gain some new fans in the process!’
Forward- thinking visionaries such as Evans and porn legend Ron Jeremy are well aware of the fact that adult services have historically been instrumental in setting the benchmark of things to come in any new emerging media such as the VCR and the internet. It seems that mobile entertainment services will be no different. Various research bodies such as Yankee Research and Juniper have already earmarked the mobile porn sector as a Billion Dollar industry in it’s own right.
With WAP and phone cam handset penetration at an all-time high and growing rapidly, many companies operating in this space are expected to launch similar ‘personal portable pleasure’ services in the forthcoming months.
Since their formation in 2003, MOOOBILE have been at the forefront of developing a wide range of adult-orientated wireless applications, borne out of significant collective years of experience in the mobile field and are seen as many from within the industry as setting the standard for things to come.
