SALT LAKE CITY--Aug. 15, 2005--
Award-Winning Speech Interfaces Now Available with i-mate(TM) Microsoft Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone Devices
The Fonix Speech Group, an operating division of Fonix(R) Corp. (OTCBB: FNIX), today announces an agreement with i-mate(TM), the specialists in Microsoft(R) Windows Mobile(TM) device solutions and supportive applications. i-mate(TM) will offer Fonix speech-activated dialing solutions, Fonix VoiceDial(TM) and Fonix VoiceCentral(TM), as downloadable software packages at www.clubimate.com -- the i-mate(TM) device-owner dedicated Web site -- and as bundled software packages to corporate accounts. Fonix receives unit royalty fees from i-mate(TM) for each download or bundled package sold.
