fastmobile's Instant Communications Solutions Come to J2ME Handsets
CHICAGO, Feb. 14 fastmobile, a leader in mobile instant
communications solutions, announced today the addition of J2ME MIDP2.0 to
their portfolio of handset platforms.
Coming to J2ME handsets are a range of fastmobile's rich solution
offerings; from multimedia Instant Messaging and presence-based address book
applications to instant media and content exchange and multimedia blogging and
community applications.

mobile network operators and service providers the ability to deliver branded,

programmable handset platform."
The announcement builds on fastmobile's already strong suite of handset
platforms which include Symbian Series 60 and UIQ, Microsoft Pocket PC and
Smartphone, and Brew. Additionally, fastmobile offers a bespoke porting
program designed for delivering customized solutions as native embedded
applications to lower end handsets. Based upon a highly portable C kernel
encapsulating core fastmobile functionality, the porting program allows rapid
implementation onto a service provider's preferred handset platform.
