LOC-AID® Launches First Personal High Precision Location Unit
BOCA RATON, FL – February 28, 2005, LOC-AID Technologies, LLC announced today that it has launched LOC-AID TRACKER, the first personal/vehicle tri-mode CDMA-1X high precision location unit. This unique device is voice and data CDMA/gpsOneTM enabled, measuring a tiny 2.7 in. (H) x 1.8 in. (W) x 0.8 in. (T).
LOC-AID TRACKER allows the user to be found using the patent pending Friend Finder application, LOC-AID PEOPLE. The location request can be initiated through the device itself, another mobile phone or the Internet. The unit is ideal for child and senior citizen monitoring as well as vehicle or fleet tracking.
