Bright future for Medify as it partners with ORANGE to develop remote technology delivery in NHS
DELAWARE, Feb. 28 - Medify Solutions Ltd. (MFYS:PK) Remote technology specialist Medify Solutions today announced it has become an Accredited Business Partner of Orange the leading mobile phone network operator. Under the Partnership Agreement, Medify will provide its market leading real time remote access to patient notes application for healthcare professionals on the latest Orange SPVM2000 pocket PC device. The new mobile is both Bluetooth and WIFI enabled, and is the first Orange device to incorporate a QWERTY pull down keyboard.
Orange is one of only two network operators who are NHS approved suppliers, and is constantly looking for innovative ways of delivering services for users. The mobile operator has a strong track record of working within the NHS, and its health links stem from its parent company, France Telecom, who have donated the construction and running costs for two hospitals in France.
Orange's senior management have recognised the huge potential of remote working in the NHS and have adopted Medify as an official content provider and business partner, for what could become a ubiquitous service in a few years time.
Medify Solutions will provide relevant content for healthcare professionals, and especially NHS specific content, using the Orange network mobile devices.
By providing the real time access to the patient records systems via the Orange SPVM2000, Medify is offering a state of the art solution to healthcare workers who will be able to access the right information at the right time and help provide better patient care 24 hours a day.
