UIQ Technology and ACCESS Partner to Bring Advanced Mobile Browser Solution
Ronneby, Sweden and Tokyo, Japan, - January 12, 2005 - UIQ Technology and ACCESS Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 4813), a global provider of mobile content delivery and Internet access technologies, today announced that they have partnered to offer ACCESS' advanced NetFront(tm) browser technology to the global UIQ community. The availability of the NetFront browser for the UIQ user interface platform establishes an advanced level of Internet browser functionality for UIQ customers. As a step in the partnership, ACCESS has joined the UIQ Alliance Partner Program and UIQ Technology has joined the ACCESS Advanced Alliance Partner Program.
Widely recognised as one of the most advanced and successful full Internet browser solutions in the mobile market, NetFront offers a comprehensive feature-set including support for WAP 2.0, WML, HTML 4.01, and cHTML.
