Sakrament begins testing English Speech Synthesis Module for Sakrament Text-to-Speech Engine v 3.0
Sakrament company, the leading developer in the sphere of speech synthesis and recognition for the Russian-language market, starts testing and debugging the English language module for Sakrament TTS Engine v 3.0 speech synthesis system.
Together with specialists from Minsk State Linguistic University, Sakrament have started testing and debugging the phonetic database of the English language module. Testing is carried out through listening to a wide selection of texts which include publications on a number of topics: news, technology, politics, science, medicine etc. Using modern texts reflecting current English will make the synthesis system capable of producing natural-sounding speech with words and constructions used nowadays in English-speaking countries. As of today, Sakrament offers the commercial version of ClearSpell, a topical dictionary which allows to learn and listen to words structured into a number of topical sections.
