Roaming Messenger(TM) (OTCBB:RMSG) today announced that the company is presenting its breakthrough messaging technology at the AFCEA WEST 2005 show in San Diego, California, February 1-3, 2005.

In the wake of September 11th, a new urgency to bind civilian and military operations more closely in order to protect our nation's security, has emerged. Roaming Messenger meets this challenge by providing a secure and interoperable technology platform that offers seamless communication between military agencies and public safety responders.

Roaming Messenger is the ideal technology to roam, locate and deliver in real-time an interactive 'smart payload' to responders in the field, at command posts, and within various agencies. A 'smart payload' can be mission-critical information, workflow processes, or other data in a variety of formats such as GPS information, photographs, diagrams, etc. The Roaming Messenger platform solves a key challenge of ensuring a coordinated effort to meet public safety and homeland security needs, by providing interoperability across devices, networks, carriers, agencies and jurisdictions.

Roaming Messenger is easily integrated into existing applications such as C4ISR systems, incident command, threat detection, intelligence support systems, etc. -- all with end-to-end, government grade security. It extends the active functionality of these applications out to the mobile world, providing a single point of integration to a host of wired and wireless devices.

"We are excited about the sales inroads we are making with major system integrators and other sales channel partners in the defense related sector. We expect to see increased traction within this market channel over the next few quarters," said Mr. Jon Lei, Roaming Messenger's CEO.

AFCEA is the largest gathering of members of the military and private sector communications firms. AFCEA offers problem-solving and networking opportunities through exhibits, technical panels, and featured speakers. Decision-makers from around the world attend AFCEA conferences for hands-on demonstrations, question-and-answer sessions and system solutions.
