Photobox and Its Partner Sites Launch MMS Postcards with InAMobile

London July 15, 2005 -- PhotoBox, winner of numerous industry retailing and digital imaging awards, has today added mobile postcards to its product portfolio. Camera phone users can now take a picture while away on holiday and have it delivered as a postcard to friends and family at home the very next day, using only a mobile camera phone.

The process is as easy as using the multi media messaging (MMS) function on your mobile. Just take a picture, add your message and send a MMS to: postcard at photobox.co.uk. You will receive a SMS text message prompting you to reply to it with the postal address. Once you have responded the postcard will be printed and mailed first class.

PhotoBox chose to work with InAMobile, a leading mobile imaging and applications company, for their postcard product. "We are pleased that PhotoBox are offering this service to its customer base. Camera phones are the new digital camera and Mobile Postcards are a natural addition to the mobile product range" said Arun, Business Development Director at InAMobile.

Graham Hobson, CEO PhotoBox said, "the InAMobile service offers camera phone owners a fantastic way to share their travels with friends and family back at home and is a natural addition to the PhotoBox portfolio. As the resolution on cameras built in to mobiles increases more and more people will use this kind of service to share pictures, places and events with people unable to be there."

The postcards, which will cost £1.50 including VAT, can be sent from any MMS enabled location, dependent on the network operator. Cards sent before 3pm UK time will be printed and posted via first class mail on the same day.
