ESRI(R) and Xplore Work Together to Provide Mobile Geographic Information Systems


AUSTIN, TX, July 25 - Xplore Technologies(R) Corp. (TSX:XPL), a leading international rugged Tablet PC provider, today announced that the company has signed ESRI of Redlands, California, as a worldwide Platinum Systems Integrator for Xplore. As a result of this arrangement, ESRI has introduced special market bundles of its industry leading mobile GIS application solutions with Xplore's rugged iX104C2(TM) family of Tablet PC systems.

Xplore will feature these integrated rugged mobile GIS solutions at ESRI's 25th Annual International User Conference which takes place July 25-29, 2005 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.

Combining ESRI's GIS Solutions with Xplore's rugged Tablet PCs and Global Positioning Systems (GPS), field personnel are equipped with powerful mobile information tools that provide access to highly accurate, real time data collection and analysis. Mobile GIS and GPS systems reduce reliance on traditional paper based forms and systems by providing highly functional and reliable Tablet PC based computing solutions.
