Hop-On Offers Two New Low-Cost CDMA Handset Solutions to Emerging Markets
IRVINE, Calif., Hop-On, Inc. (OTC: HPNN - News) today announced that it will begin selling 2 new models of low cost CDMA2000 1X handsets targeted for the emerging markets. Hop-On's Models 1930 and 1931 are both single-mode handsets that operate on the 800 MHz frequency. In quantities of at least 10,000 units, Hop-On's Model 1930 will be available for under US$49 FOB Hong Kong and Model 1931 will be available for under US$59 FOB Hong Kong. The primary difference between these two models is that the 1930 has a colored display (black and white LCD screen with a colored wallpaper background) while the Model 1931 has a 4K CSTN color screen. Other phone features on both models include an embedded antenna, Li-ion 800 mAh battery, SMS messaging, multi-language capability, games and an alarm. This phone has CDG1 and CDG11 complete.
