WirelessDevNet.com Press Release

Roaming Messenger Launches Version 2.0 -- A New Paradigm for Empowering Enterprise Mobility

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--May 31, 2005--Roaming Messenger(R) (OTCBB:RMSG), the provider of a breakthrough mobile technology platform, announced today the release of Roaming Messenger 2.0 (RM 2.0). Unlike other mobile technology, RM 2.0 mobilizes core enterprise applications by encapsulating BOTH data AND workflow processes into smart "messengers." Messengers are able to move around autonomously in the mobile world, interacting with users and systems, bringing back data and decisions, all in real-time.

Roaming Messenger shifts the current paradigm of mobilizing enterprise applications via static flat messages to the new paradigm of dynamic, intelligent messengers that extend active functionality out to mobile users. By mobilizing BOTH information AND business logic, RM 2.0 gives enterprises the power to easily transform their business processes to take full advantage of the mobile world.

"While the underlying core 'messenger' technology has been relatively constant for some time, RM 2.0 represents a significant leap forward at the platform level," explains Jon Lei, Roaming Messenger's CEO. "The previous release of Roaming Messenger was highly focused on smart messaging functionality. While that had strong implications for the process of delivering key messages to key people (tracking people down and getting responses), RM 2.0 opens up more of the core technology to enable transformation of all kinds of business processes to achieve full enterprise mobility."

By integrating RM 2.0 into their existing core applications, enterprises as well as public agencies are able to speed up work processes, respond more effectively to customers and other stakeholders, and empower individuals with real-time accurate information and the ability to take it to the next step, wherever they may be.

Roaming Messenger 2.0 provides a rich feature set of capabilities, highlights of which include:

-- Rich interactivity at the device level, providing the ability to interact with information and initiate action from the mobile device

-- Ability to retrieve global positioning system (GPS) information for mobile devices, and also execute commands based on GPS location of users and devices

-- Roaming across different types of devices to track down individuals and deliver messengers in real-time

-- SPAM-proof, as the technology operates outside of traditional e-mail and text messaging channels which are subject to mobile spam.

-- End-to-end government grade security

Communication to mobile users will no longer be just informational, it will be fully interactive. Critical workflow messages will no longer get stuck in e-mail inboxes. Whether it is a power outage or customer service request, responding to events will no longer take more time than it should. Data security during transmission and on the device is no longer an additional concern, it will be secured. GPS location is no longer a separate process; it is now part of the messenger paradigm. The mobile world is not just about cell phones -- but wireless AND wired devices.

"RM 2.0 is a milestone release for the company. Validation of this new paradigm is evidenced by the strong interest we are getting from large vertical market sectors. Our alliance partners and others are very excited about what this breakthrough technology empowers them to do," commented Mr. Lei. "We're very excited about our progress to date and our prospects going forward!"

Roaming Messenger can be easily integrated into existing enterprise applications, providing a platform that powerfully extends these solutions out to the mobile edge and back again. It addresses the dual challenges of ensuring secure communications while easily gaining a single point of integration to a host of devices, including both mobile devices as well as wired legacy devices.
