Moderati’s Ringtone Application Tops with Industry and Consumers Alike
Moderati’s Modtones DJ wins best ringtone application at The Brew 2005 developer awards, also cited as top music seller on Verizon deck
Mobile entertainment company Moderati snagged a BREW 2005 Developer Award for Best Ringtone Application for its Modtones DJ product, a handset application featuring real music clips from current artists. With full fidelity hit singles and tracks from artists like 50 Cent, Modtones DJ turns an ordinary mobile phone into music machine. The firm cites a major demand for hip-hop based ringtones a key to driving much of its success.
Some of the features of Modtones DJ include: the ability to browse various categories, preview the tones including various new arrivals and download them right to your phone.
The BREW 2005 Developer Awards is a global awards program that recognizes and promotes the best BREW® applications created by wireless publishers and developers. The winners were revealed during an awards ceremony at the BREW 2005 Conference, held in early June at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.
In related news, Modtones was also recently announced as the top-selling polyphonic ringtone application according to Verizon Wireless. The BREW 2005 Developer Award comes on the heels of the firm's recent announcement that it will power the delivery of all ringtones and wallpaper to Amp'd Mobile®, the first truly integrated 3G CDMA2000® 1xEV-DO wireless service launching later this year.
