Playman Summer Games 2 is Here, it's Hammertime!
Playman, the all-round million selling world famous mobile sports superstar, has returned in a brand new game and he’s looking better than ever! For the first time, Playman is put head to head against a group of increasingly difficult international sporting stars. Like before, Playman is competing in a tournament of events. It begins with the 100 meter dash, after which Playman’s muscles and voice (Scream Booster™) are put to the test in hammer throw. The third event sets Playman flying in the air when he takes part in the triple jump. The sports day ends with the javelin, and then the award ceremonies can begin.
Playman received a total makeover for this newest title. The graphic requirements were set at an unprecedented level, as the stadium and Playman himself would be presented in 3D on all handsets. Therefore, the animation frames were rendered using a full scale 3D model, which demanded a lot of attention and hard work. Furthermore, the game contains an arsenal of realistic physics and special effects, such as day/night time, audience flash lights, lens flares, weather effects, fireworks, customizable animated advertisement banners and much more. Playman is really moving in to the 3rd dimension!
With all the features that the game incorporates, it truly demonstrates the power and flexibility of Mr.Goodliving’s production platform MRG EMERGE. Games developed on the platform use single code bases, with which they are optimized for the handsets according to separate handset profiles. This way the games use all the features of each handset to an utmost extent. Thanks to MRG EMERGE, Playman Summer Games 2 looks stunning on all of the supported handsets.
Playman Summer Games 2 will be available trough all major network operators and portals in multiple languages from the end of June onwards.
