QUALCOMM Announces Agreement With Amp'd Mobile to Deliver Advanced Applications and Services

QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code
Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced
that it has signed a definitive agreement with Amp'd Mobile, a mobile virtual
network operator (MVNO) specifically geared for the youth audience, to offer
downloadable wireless applications and services based on QUALCOMM's BREW
solution. Amp'd Mobile plans to target the growing legion of 18-35 year old
mobile users with a feature-rich user interface and access to user-friendly
BREW games, entertainment, video and information applications and services,
all via a 3G CDMA2000 1xEV-DO network.
