Sybase Mobile Products Powered by Cingular's High-Speed Nationwide EDGE Network
NEW ORLEANS, LA. - CTIA WIRELESS 2005 - Sybase, Inc. (NYSE:
SY), a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure and wireless software, has announced that a variety of its market-leading mobile products have been certified for use with the nationwide Cingular Wireless GSM(tm)/GPRS/EDGE wireless data network, offering enterprise customers mobile applications and mobile infrastructure to support implementations of mobile solutions for their organization. The Cingular-enabled mobile products from Sybase's iAnywhere subsidiary include: M-Business Anywhere(tm), Mobile Pharma, Mobile Sales, and Pylon Anywhere(tm), in addition to Sybase's newest mobile product, Unwired Accelerator.
