JAMDAT Mobile and Atari Launch "YAHTZEE DELUXE" for Wireless
LOS ANGELES--March 29, 2005--Global wireless entertainment publisher JAMDAT Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ:JMDT) and interactive games publisher Atari Interactive, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATAR) announced today the launch of "YAHTZEE DELUXE," a mobile version of the classic board game that will be available through multiple wireless carriers in the U.S. The first title to launch under an extended licensing agreement between the two companies, "YAHTZEE DELUXE" is the most complete YAHTZEE experience that can be played anytime, anywhere, all on a mobile phone.
"YAHTZEE DELUXE" features authentic YAHTZEE gameplay as players roll dice to score points with both large and small straights, shoot for four of a kind, or the ultimate -- a Yahtzee! The game allows players to choose the strength of their computer opponent and pick from three different game types: classic, rainbow and duplicate. Simplified one-button controls allow gamers to select dice and scoring categories easily.
