Panasonic Selects Ikivo SVG Player for New Range of Mobile Phones
Stockholm, Sweden, 10 May 2005 — Ikivo AB, a leading provider of SVG software solutions for mobile devices today announced that the new range of mobile phones recently released by Panasonic Mobile Communications is enabled with the Ikivo SVG Player. The new phone models are the VS3, VS7, SA6, SA7, MX6 and MX7. These feature phones will use SVG for mobile UI personalisation such as high resolution wallpapers as well as other regular services such as Messaging (instead of MMS) and browsing.
Panasonic acquired the Ikivo technology through a license agreement with Infineon Technologies who delivers the Ikivo SVG Player integrated in the APOXI framework software.

Panasonic’s decision further extends the list of customers globally choosing the Ikivo SVG Player. Most of the largest handset manufacturers are now licensing Ikivo technology for SVG.
