CPS and Trackwell To Target Enterprises and Operators With Joint Mobile Location Solutions
Mobile Location Services 2005, Barcelona, 17 May 2005) CPS (Cambridge Positioning Systems Ltd), leaders in GSM and WCDMA location technology, and location based service specialists Trackwell today announce plans to jointly market their respective solutions to operators and enterprises.
The two companies will work together to promote each other's offerings and collaborate on service and technology deployments with operators around the world.
Trackwell, based in Iceland, has already secured contracts with major European operators, government bodies and enterprises for its range of customised software solutions. Recently, the company also won a contract to provide its Tracscape fleet management platform to enterprises in the United Arab Emirates.
CPS's Matrix technolgy can underpin a full range of location-based applications in both GSM and WCMDA. Software-only, Matrix is now being integrated into a number of devices and has recently been deployed in China to support enterprise asset tracking applications.
