Handango Announces InHand Client for Series 60
BARCELONA, Spain-Nov Today, at the Nokia Mobility Conference, Handango, the leading provider of mobile content, announced the release of the InHand Series 60 client, an on-device application that makes it easy for customers to discover, download and buy best-selling Symbian OS-based content and applications. Handango InHand for Series 60 is optimized for the recently launched Nokia N70 and other Series 60 devices.
Handango InHand for Series 60 delivers a compelling content discovery and purchasing experience designed to enable developers and operators to drive revenues from rich application downloads. Features of the new version of the InHand client include:
Auto-Update. Delivers fresh content and client updates without user intervention.
Multiple Purchasing Options. Allows users to purchase downloads using Premium SMS, credit card and Handango member accounts.
Advance Content Download Manager. Features automatic continuation of interrupted downloads, background transfers and multiple concurrent download locations.
Customizable. Offers a full range of possibilities for operator branding and customization.

Development
Handango worked in conjunction with Nokia to develop the Series 60 version of Handango InHand, integrating Handango AMPP, Handango's application management and provisioning platform, with the customizable, device-resident Purchasing Client developed as the consumer interface of Nokia's Preminet end-to-end content delivery solution. Both the Preminet and InHand for Series 60 clients are designed to easily deliver quality content and applications into the hands of mobile customers globally.
