GSM/GPRS network, which is available in 13,000 cities and towns and along
nearly 40,000 miles of major highways in the U.S.. AirIQ clients will benefit
from the ability to send and receive more information, measured in both
frequency and volume.
"GSM technology enhances the Company's location-based services across all
markets and geographies, and positions the AirIQ services for aggressive
international expansion in both the vehicular and personal tracking markets,"
explains Donald Simmonds, President and CEO of AirIQ. "The agreement with
Cingular adds the GSM platform in the United States, in addition to our
previously announced deployment plans in Mexico. Cingular's digital service
will support our aggressive subscriber acquisition plans and we look forward to
the mutual benefits arising from such a strong alliance for years to come."
