Qlinks America Acquires the GeoCommunity and Wireless Developer Network Online Communities
Englewood, CO -- November 14, 2005 -- Qlinks America, Inc. (Qlinks), a privately-held Colorado Corporation, today announced the purchase of two online communities, the GeoCommunity™ and the Wireless Developer Network™, from ThinkBurst Media, Inc., a Florida Corporation. With this asset purchase executed on October 31, 2005, Qlinks furthers its business strategy of becoming a market leader in “linking community business” over the next five years.
Bill Jones, Chairman and Founder of Qlinks, announced “that this purchase of the GeoCommunity™ and the Wireless Developer Network™ will serve as a foundation for our expansion into web-portals for established communities of interest. The two acquired web-portals are the introduction of Qlinks’ online community growth strategy over the next several years.”
Tom Knighten, the CEO of ThinkBurst, said, “I am saddened to no longer be a part of these two online communities which ThinkBurst jointly built with our loyal client and member base over the past 10 years. However, I am excited that Qlinks has made a commitment to the clients, members, and employees of these two online communities and intends to continue to grow these properties with enhanced services and support.”
Qlinks will continue operations of these online communities out of offices in Niceville, FL. “We are committed to ensuring no disruption in service to our loyal members, clients, and visitors of each online community”, said T.C. Herman, Division President for the newly formed Qlinks Media Group. “Our objective is to add new and expanded content, features, and services that will further enhance the value components for our clients and users.”
