Smartphones Signs Mobile Content Distribution Agreement with Digital Orchid
Jacksonville, FL November 14, 2005 -- Smartphones Technologies, Inc., a leading mobile content publisher, and Digital Orchid, a leading innovator in the development, management, and distribution of branded real-time wireless applications, announced a new mobile content distribution agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Digital Orchid will deliver Smartphones’ wallpaper, voice ringtones, and video clips to mobile customers through its BREW content platform applications. Digital Orchid is already offering Smartphones content to customers in 23 countries in Latin America.
Smartphones Technologies has exclusive college sports licensing agreements with many of the country’s leading colleges and universities. Smartphones content also includes celebrity, entertainment, and consumer brands, and a vast array of graphic art, sci-fi and animé artwork that will enhance Digital Orchid’s consumer products. Digital Orchid powers world leading brands such as NASCAR.com TOGO, MLB.com, NHL, Quicksilver and Hawaiian Tropic, in addition to leading sports brands throughout Latin America such as Caliente, TODOMO and Maradona. By working together, they combine Smartphones’ exclusive content with Digital Orchid’s global distribution.
